This story comes from Trini Coronado, a promotora working within the West 1 region of Colorado. In late January, Trini was contacted by an agricultural worker in Montrose County who needed help with making an appointment with the DMV to take his written test. Additionally, the worker was having difficulty securing a ride to the test, and he asked for aid with getting the test translated to Spanish. Unfortunately, Trini was unable to take the worker to the test, but she was able to still schedule the appointment for him and she found another promotora who would be able to drive him to the DMV as well as act as a translator for him during the test.
