[Promotora] Ok empezamos con ella. ¿Me puedes decir un poco sobre lo que es trabajar en Colorado, como trabajador agrícola?
[Trabajadora 1] Pues es un poco cansado por el tiempo que se viene el frío, el calor, (inaudible)… trabajar.

[Trabajador 2] Pues sí, es a veces los tiempos malos, pero también buenos. Hay de todo, pero un buen trabajo (inaudible) aquí en el estado de Colorado.

[Promotora] Por favor ¿me describe su experiencia trabajando en granjas en Colorado? ¿Cómo es su experiencia trabajando en las granjas?
[Trabajador 2] Ok, mi persona, yo tengo de 1999 llegando aquí a Estados Unidos, a Colorado. Yo trabajaba en establos de vacas, ordeño de vacas. Yo aprendí a inseminar vacas para reproducción. Estamos hablando de 1999, dure como 5 años.

[Promotora] ¿Que es difícil de trabajar en… como agricultores en Colorado, en las granjas de Colorado? Es, ¿Qué seria?

[Trabajador 2] A veces es el tiempo. El tiempo porque, como en este caso que trabajamos aquí, no se trabaja todo el año. Es temporal. Entonces en este tiempo como ahorita no trabajamos

[Trabajador 2] Estamos sin trabajo y es difícil porque no ahorra uno tanto dinero para pagar las cuentas, bilés, y es un poquito más, más difícil para uno porque no tiene un ingreso para sobrevivir en este tiempo que no trabajamos.

[Trabajador 2] Es temporal. Y no juntamos mucho dinero, en realidad es poco dinero que junta uno porque pues tiene uno gastos. Tiene que pagar renta, pues todo lo que es bilés. Tienes que pagar gasolina, tienes que pagar todo, teléfono, tienes que pagar todo, tiene que pagar uno.
[Trabajador 2] Entonces pues es bastante dinero y es poco lo que tenemos, no es mucho dinero para sobrevivir. Pero estamos un poco mejor que en otro lugar.

[Trabajador 2] Pues nos gusta el estado de Colorado. Y trabajamos por necesidad, pero nos gusta… varios trabajos y es lo bueno, que hemos encontrado trabajos muy buenos. Y aquí estamos en este estado para echarle ganas.

[Trabajador 2] La necesidad, desgraciadamente, la necesidad. A veces…
[Trabajadora 1] El poder ayudar a la familia que se queda en México. Porque pues a eso se viene uno, verdad. Deja uno su familia para apoyarlos.

[Trabajador 2] Pierde uno sus seres queridos en México, por ejemplo: Yo hace 12 años murió mi mama y desgraciadamente no me pude regresar a México. Siento mucho que no pude estar con ella. Apenas a ella también se le acaba de morir su mama. ¿Qué tiene, como unos… un año?
[Trabajadora 1]Un año.
[Trabajador 2] Un año que se murió su mamá también. Ya perdió un hermano aquí también, aquí en Colorado.

[Trabajador 2] Hace como 11 años y pues es triste también, por qué se le va la familia. Yo acá y hasta mi familia ya se murieron los mayores, nomás me queda mi papa de 81 años en México. Y eso es lo que, si me puede ahorita de eso, porque es un señor grande y yo soy el más chico de la familia y aquí estoy, echándole ganas para poderles aportar 1 peso para que sobrevivan allá.
[Promotora] Sí, pues es muy triste la situación
[Trabajador 2] Sí

[Trabajador 2] Pues que nos echaran la mano, que nos echaran la mano para superar nosotros y poder salir más fuerte en este país, en este estado para poder realizar trabajos mejores.

[Worker 1] Being able to help the family that stays in Mexico. Because well, that's why one comes here, right. You leave your family to support them.

[Worker 2] One loses loved ones in Mexico, for example: 12 years ago, my mother died and unfortunately, I could not return to Mexico. I regret that I couldn't be with her. Just recently her mother died too. What is it, like about ... a year old?

[Worker 2] A year ago that his mother died too. He already lost a brother here too, here in Colorado.

[Worker 2] Well, that they would help us, that they would help us to overcome ourselves and be able to come out stronger in this country, in this state to be able to have better jobs.
