An agricultural worker gets the day off to get his vaccine

Trabajador:

Soy de Chihuahua.

Promotora:

Es de Chihuahua y ¿se acaba de poner la vacuna?

Trabajador:

Apenas hace cinco minutos.

Promotora:

¿Cómo se siente?

Trabajador:

Me siento bien nada de problemas todo muy bien. Es la primera y un poco nervioso pero nos imaginábamos algo diferente.

Promotora:

¿Cómo lo trataron?

Trabajador:

Muy bien, muy bien atendido, y no hablamos el idioma pero ellos se hacen entender y nos traen un intérprete y nos explicaron todo muy bien.

Promotora:

¿Y en dónde está ahorita, dónde está tomando la vacuna?

Trabajador:

En Del Norte y habían dicho que estaban dando prioridad a la agricultura y nosotros trabajamos en ranchos. Hasta nos dieron el día libre para si nos sentíamos mal ya no regresamos al trabajo hasta el lunes.

Promotora:

¡Súper! ¿Y su nombre?

Trabajador:

Farmworker:

I’m from Chihuahua.

Promotora:

You’re from Chihuahua and were just vaccinated?

Farmworker:

Just five minutes ago.

Promotora:

How do you feel?

Farmworker:

I feel fine no problems so I’m feeling great. It is the first dose so a bit nervous but I expected something different.

Promotora:

How did they treat you?

Farmworker:

Good, well greeted, and even though I don’t speak the language they made themselves understood by having an interpreter and explained everything well.

Promotora:

And where are you right now, where did you receive this vaccine?

Farmworker:

In Del Norte and they had said they were giving priority to agriculture and I work on a ranch. They gave us the day off in case we felt sick and won’t have to go in for work until Monday.
